Before you saw this video, did you know any Alternative Treatment For Autism or Asperger’s?

What is “Non” Alternative Treatment For Autism or Asperger’s?

“Non” Alternative Treatment For Autism or Asperger’s are what the doctor is going to prescribe for a child with these conditions. These are the “normal” treatments for these diagnoses. But, these conditions have no cure, so “normal” treatments may reduce some symptoms but will not solve these problems for the child.

Applied Behavioral Analysis is designed to teach an un-teachable child as much as possible so that child can become an adult with Autism or Asperger’s. And, Doctors might prescribe Ritalin to control the child’s impulsivity or hyperactivity. But, what others do you know about?

Alternative Treatment For Autism or Asperger’s

There are several popular Alternative Treatment For Autism or Asperger’s. They include bio-medical treatment, which is a chelation detox treatment which works to take heavy metals from the child’s body. For some children, these treatments do work to reduce the symptoms and improve the child’s condition. There is still a lot of controversy about chelation for children. Some parents say that for them, their child has recovered from their autism or Asperger’s condition.

GFCF and Feingold Diets are a popular approach which families take. The Gluten Free-Casein Free diet is designed to restrict dairy and wheat from the child’s diet. The Feingold diet restricts food colorants and food additives from the child’s diet. For many children these diets improve the child condition. For many others these diets have no effect on the child’s symptoms.

Auditory Processing Disorders

9:18 am in Developmental Disorders by Admin

A common developmental difficulty for children involves a diagnosis of Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD or APD). Testing shows that children with this developmental disorder have ears which actually function, but the brain circuitry which manages the ability to recognize and to understand sounds is faulty or immature.

We see many of these children when they are 8 or 9 years old. They tend to be smart, but have poor performance in school. They pretend to understand conversations and instructions, but usually don’t understand much of what is being said to them.

This is a condition which starts early in the developmental process (in the first couple of years), but the difficulties in school seem to peak in the 3rd and 4th years of school.

Why does it takes so long to recognize this condition? How long does it take to correct it? Why does this happen to children?

Chronic Illnesses And Developmental Problems

10:10 am in by Admin

Children with developmental problems often have medical difficulties. What is the connection between the developmental issues and those medical conditions?

What Kinds Of Medical Problems?

  • Digestive: Leaky Gut Syndrome, Food Sensitivities
  • Respiratory, Ear, Nose, & Throat: Asthma, Infections, Sinusitis, congestion and inflammation in the ear
  • Dyspraxia, Dysgraphia, & Dystonia: Difficulties in coordination and inability to maintain muscle tone
  • Sensory Difficulties: Sensory Integration Disorder, Auditory Processing Disorder, Balance Disorders
  • Seizures and Convulsions: Fever or Febrile Convulsions

These conditions are common for children with developmental disorders. How can we understand the relationship these conditions have with developmental problems? What is the common thread which runs through them all?

These are all physical manifestations of something wrong with the developmental process. The developmental process has not completely run its course and the child’s natural immune responses are not able to kick-in and start protecting the child.

What Is The Reason Children Have Developmental Problems?

Children have developmental problems because the normal developmental process is blocked or stuck.

The problem for children in our modern culture is that health care professionals are taught to treat the symptoms of the child’s disorder. If a child has convulsions, the doctor knows how to prescribe medications for that. If the child has asthma, the doctor knows how to prescribe medications for that. If the child has sinusitis, the doctor knows how to prescribe medications for that. If the child cannot focus, the doctor knows how to prescribe medications for that.

But, if these problems are based on an incomplete or inadequate development of the child, these problems are going to continue to surface. As long as treatments only address the symptoms, the conditions will continue.  The only way to solve these types of problems is to get the developmental process back on track.

What is the connection between developmental problems and those medical conditions?

The basis of children’s ADHD, dyslexia, autism, or any other Developmental Disorder is that the child’s developmental process is stuck or blocked.

The basis for these chronic illnesses in children is that the child’s developmental process is stuck or blocked.

They both have the same basis. What if all these chronic illnesses are just more symptoms that the child’s developmental process is stuck or blocked.

How do we solve these developmental problems?

We have to re-engage the developmental process and encourage it to catch up. When we do this, the symptoms of developmental disorders disappear and the chronic illnesses disappear.
